ENDOW is governed by a Board of Directors.
Meet the ENDOW Staff
Terry Polakovic, Executive Director
| | As the Co-founder and Executive Director, Terry Polakovic brings 20 years of non-profit leadership to ENDOW. Founded in 2003, ENDOW has grown from an idea into a national women's ministry. Over 2,000 women have participated in ENDOW study groups in the last four years. In addition to leading ENDOW, Terry is also the Vice Chairman for the Augustine Institute, a graduate school for the New Evangelization. Prior to founding ENDOW, Terry was the Chief Executive Officer of Seeds of Hope Charitable Trust for the Archdiocese of Denver. Terry and her husband, Mike, have two young adult children. |
Kate Sweeney, Associate Director
Kate Sweeney joined ENDOW in 2007 as the Associate Director. Prior to ENDOW, Kate spent several years in the insurance consulting industry and two years serving as a missionary with International Volunteers in Houston, TX. In addition to working for ENDOW, Kate is the Colorado Regional Director for Challenge, a Catholic leadership club for girls. |
Margaret McCann, Program Coordinator
| Margaret has worked with ENDOW since the end of June 2005. She first heard about ENDOW when reading an article in the Denver Post on the "New Feminism" in the spring of 2004, and it caught her interest. She knows the opportunity to work in the ENDOW office at the John Paul II Center was prompted by the Holy Spirit. Margaret is a mother of 3 sons (ages 18, 21 and 24), has been married for 27 years to a great Irish American, and lives in Parker, CO. Margaret began her spiritual journey when she was pregnant with her 3rd son at the age of 38 when taking walks in the last months. She found the rosary as a way to get in her "prayer time". Little did she know where God and the Blessed Mother were going to lead her. |
Brigid Sweeney, Marketing Coordinator
| | Brigid Sweeney has been working with ENDOW since September 2006 in both marketing of ENDOW and in development of the high school study, True Beauty Revealed. In addition to working for ENDOW, Brigid is a full time student pursing a degree in International Business at the University of Colorado. As well, she volunteers as the Colorado Group Leader for Challenge, a Catholic leadership club for girls, where she serves as a formator for high school girls across the state. Prior to ENDOW, Brigid spent two years serving as a missionary with International Volunteers in Minnesota, MN. |
Eileen Love, Editor
| Eileen Love comes to ENDOW after many years in parish work. Eileen has worked as a Director of Religious Education and was a featured columnist in the Denver Catholic Register from 1994-2000. She holds certification as a master catechist, is a 1994 graduate of the Catholic Biblical School and has her Master's Degree in Theological Studies. She and her husband, Mike are the blessed and proud parents of 4 young men. |
