In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Humanae Vitae, Jake and Ramie Samour in San Antonio, Texas, are using the ENDOW Humanae Vitae study to reach as many people as possible during this historic year.
"We want everyone to have the opportunity to study this document for what it is - not what they assume it is or what they have heard someone else say it is. Most people have not even read the document let alone know the historical context of it; this study is a beautiful and easy way to understand the complexity, depth, and beauty of the Church's teaching," Ramie says. Couples are being trained in and around San Antonio to facilitate these study groups which will be held in churches starting in the fall throughout the archdiocese.
Both Jake and Ramie are graduates of the John Paul II Institute for Studies in Marriage and Family in Washington D.C. Jake is the Director of the Archdiocesan Office of Marriage and Family, and Ramie in involved with ENDOW in San Antonio as well as being a full-time wife and mother.
