ENDOW Board Member, Wendy Dominguez, Nominated for Outstanding Women in Business Award

             

Wendy Dominguez was recently nominated to receive the Outstanding Women in Business Award.  On August 15, 2007 the Denver Business Journal, Wells Fargo Bank, Ernst & Young, and the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) are honoring and recognizing women's excellence in business and community at the 9th Annual Outstanding Women in Business luncheon.

Wendy is an ENDOW Board member and facilitator.  She is a Principal, and co-founder, of Innovest Portfolio Solutions LLC.  She has over 15 years experience in the investment consulting profession.  Her clients include some of the largest public and private sector retirement plans in the state of Colorado, as well as many large Foundations, Endowments and wealthy families.  In addition, she is responsible for the operations of Innovest including client coordination with providers, money managers, custodians, administrators, auditors and actuaries.  She oversees performance reporting, client projects, retirement plan vendor searches and money manager searches as well as the financial and human resources operations of Innovest.  Wendy has personally handled vendor and manager negotiations for Innovest clients saving them, in many cases, thousands and hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Wendy has a BS in Finance and Economics (Magna Cum Laude) and an MBA from the University of Denver.  In addition to ENDOW, she also serves on the Investment Committee of the Seeds of Hope Charitable Trust, a Catholic organization that provides educational opportunities to at-risk children.  Wendy is married to a Denver Police SWAT Officer and is the mother of 4 year old twins.
